💪 Why Meal Plans Often Fail (And How to Avoid It) Here’s the secret to sustainable fat Loss: A 4-Step Plan that makes eating enjoyable again… Hey Ann, Meal plans often involve eating the same “clean” and boring foods every day at the same time. But this typical approach to meal plans just doesn’t work for two reasons. The first reason is that many “health” foods we’re told to eat are very calorie dense. For example, a “healthy” breakfast of eggs, avocado toast, and a banana on the side with peanut butter racks up to over 1,000 calories! Reason two is that most meal plans expect you to eat the same bland meals day in and day out. A recent 2021 study took a group of resistance trained males and females, and had them follow a strict meal plan for 10 weeks. Throughout the 10 weeks, they were able to successfully lose about 7 lbs of fat, but then re-gained much of that as soon as they went off their meal plan after the study was over (PMID: 34187492). Today, I'm going to give you a 4-step plan to set up your next weight loss diet. Step by step we’re going to be filling in a planner for your meals.
