💪 Do This To Gain Complete Control of Your Nutrition For many people the biggest struggle to obtaining their dream physique is their diet. Here’s a hack that can help you dial in your diet no matter how bad it is now… Hey Ann, We’ve been tracking and logging comments and questions we receive from members for a long time. We do this because we want to know what you’re struggling with so we can improve our programs and approach to help you succeed. Today, I’m going to share one of the common themes we hear from members and offer a tip to help you. See if any of these sound familiar… How can I achieve my caloric deficit without sacrificing taste and cravings for sweets? Changing my eating habits has always been my hardest thing. My biggest challenge when it comes to attaining a muscular physic isn't about my workout out program but more about my diet. My biggest struggle is nutrition hands down. Diet. Inability to control the cravings. Giving up to please the tongue. Here’s the tip - retrain your taste buds. First, you have to approach your diet just like your workouts. Things can be uncomfortable but remember, you are training your body to adapt to a new lifestyle. When you start eating healthier many times the foods can taste bland or dull because they don’t contain all the salt, sugar, and flavor enhancers of processed foods. Give yourself three weeks and you will notice this subsides. Your taste buds change and you will begin to enjoy much more of your healthy diet. Here’s something a member told me once that drank sweetened iced tea literally all day long…they had a glass beside them constantly. They knew they needed to cut those calories out of their diet but the addiction to sugar and caffeine was seemingly insurmountable. Here’s what they did: They gradually (over two month’s time) reduced the amount of sugar they put in their tea until they eliminated it. Each time they reduced the sugar slightly it tasted, “not quite sweet enough” but in just a few days it tasted fine. They repeated this until there was no sugar being added. Next, they began to mix half caffeinated with half decaffeinated tea until they eliminated the caffeine. The result? They reduced their daily calories by 770 based on 7 glasses of sweet tea at 110 calories each not to mention the reduction in caffeine. You could do this same thing with coffee or many of the other drinks of choice. These small changes add up to huge results over time. Look for ways to slowly push yourself in the right direction and you will find some ways that work for you.
