💪 (Case Study) The Science of Shredding Once you realize your program works, it changes everything... Hey Ann, Bruno was tracking calories and thought he had everything under control. The hardest part for him wasn't lifting weights. It was controlling his diet and, the most important part, understanding and believing what he was doing would work. I have a very logical way of thinking, so seeing the explanations and other people's progress made the difference. In the beginning I started working on fixing my form and tracking my calories (literally everything). It helped knowing that if I wanted to eat something different (more calories), I had to plan my day ahead of time. Although my strength didn't change much over the twelve weeks (slow progress) after losing 20 lbs, but I'm happy to keep at least the same with some improvements. Now that I’ve hit my first phase of shredding down, I feel good about myself; I'm not shy to take shirtless pictures (and post them)! From the fitness perspective, I'm happy that even after losing weight, I didn't lose strength and could still progress a bit: pull-ups are happening now! From here, I plan to enjoy the summer with my abs and lean bulk next fall. I started this week to increase my calorie intake a bit. I definitely want to put on some lean muscle, which is my next goal. Three Hot Tips From Bruno: Trust the food scale and track your calories. It is hard in the beginning, but 2 weeks in and you're going to get used to it, and you will see results. There is no weekend/vacation for dieting. If you want to eat more, plan your day/week.
