💪 (Case Study) How to Shed 12kg in 12 Weeks When you don’t know what to eat or how much, this will show you the way to smashing your goals… Hey Ann, Tristin wanted to start taking a cut seriously and get the best results he could. But had no knowledge of nutrition or calories, and was completely lost on how much he should be eating to lose weight. Then he found the BWS Intermediate Shred Program… Results: Before: 87kg (192 lbs) Now: 75kg (165 lbs) “The program has changed my life, it’s as simple as that, the information that I obtained from this program as a beginner is unrivaled. I feel much fitter and confident knowing that I am working towards a better self.” - Tristin Here’s What Tristin Told Us: I started the program when I wanted to start taking a cut seriously and get the best results. Before this I had no knowledge of nutrition, calories in or out, and was completely lost on how much I should be eating to lose weight. Something that was different and really pushed me over the edge to purchase the BWS program was the nutrition spreadsheet. I haven't tried other programs but had a decent amount of knowledge about lifting weights. It was my food I struggled with. Initially I was losing weight very quickly but the program and spreadsheet helped me maintain a normal, steady weight loss This is the second time that I have completed a cut on this program, and the big thing that really makes the transformation happen is your diet. The first time I was very strict on clean eating and I found that when I got to 8 weeks, I was burnt out from dieting. The second time I took a more casual approach. I still kept to my calories every day aiming for a slow weight loss, but the big thing I changed was that I was much more flexible and made my diet sustainable. I think that is the most important part of a lifestyle change. Comparing my first cut last year to my latest transformation, I went from 85kg to 74kg in 12 weeks and was about 15% body fat back then. This time around I lost 12 kgs from 87 to 75kg, ending at 11.5 % body fat. Hence I am much leaner and more muscular this time round. It really shows what dedication to training and diet can do for you and your health. My next goals are to dramatically increase my strength and stay relatively lean the majority of the year to avoid a long cut at the end. Three Hot Tips From Tristin: Consistency, patience, and sustainability. These are the big 3 things that got me through my last cut. Some mornings I would consider stopping my cut but I just had to remind myself that I had to be patient and it will come. Being flexible with what I ate was a personal preference and is what made my calorie deficit easier. Eating too strict burns me out and I found I want to stop much more than if I’m happy with my diet. I'm not saying I didn't meet my deficit, I did that every day, but some days I would sacrifice volume for foods I really liked and I think that really helped my diet. It all comes down to what YOU can sustain.
