This is typically when they first get serious about tracking everything they eat. Here’s a recent comment from Wil who was featured in a case study: “...there are a lot of extra snacks around the house, which means a lot of temptation. Prior to starting the program I thought I was eating healthy because I rarely ate any large meals. What I did not realize was all the snacks I would eat here and there throughout the day adds up very quickly.” Snacking in between meals and not accounting for it is basically “cheating your way to failure” because it does add up very quickly. Before you know it, you’ve increased your caloric intake by 1,000 calories and you’re still hungry. Then when meal time comes… well, you get the point. Action Step: If you’re not doing it already, track everything that you eat or drink - drinks can add up fast - for an entire week.
