Our 2021 Pinot Noir grabs attention with its appealing color of a Red Delicious apple. Heady aromatics are of strawberry, licorice, and the spicy perfume of carnations. The palate is framed with a broad creamy texture showcasing vibrant flavors familiar to the Pinot Noir varietal. Small sweet raspberries and baking spice flavors with a slight note of almond make this wine ready to enjoy.

In 2021 Monterey had a fantastic and long growing season. The vineyards were covered in an extended marine layer while the rest of California was hot. The fog moved to the coast in September offering two weeks of warm weather before harvest. The 2021 Pinots from the region show refined flavor development.

This 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark purple in the glass and opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and currants with notes of incense and a waft of smoked meat. Full-bodied, the textured palate is rich with flavors of brown sugar, sweet vanilla, baking spice, and hints of toasted oak. Balanced with fine-grained tannins, the finish is savory and lingers.

Harvested in the cool morning hours from vineyards across Napa Valley including the Calistoga, St. Helena, and Rutherford appellations, the grapes were hand-sorted and underwent extended maceration before aging in a combination of new French oak and American White oak bourbon barrels. Bourbon barrels have a heavier toast that imparts a light smoky note on the nose and highlights the characteristics that are synonymous with the spirit.
