About the Materials: DEFY has been using this incredible TEXWAX canvas for years and we just love way the material looks, wears and feels. We often tell people the material reminds us of a vintage wax canvas Barbour field jacket and will react to the elements in a very similar fashion; it has a rain repellency due to the canvas being infused with paraffin wax, so water will bead up and typically roll off (depending on how heavy of a downpour you've found yourself in.) The interior 'Stormtrooper' XPAC is such a refreshing lining visually, as it greets you with a light and easy to see inside manner. It's so useful for finding all your things. It too has some water-resistance to it, so the 2 materials work so well with the YKK Aquaguard water-repellent zippers. Our team feels they form a sort of 'carry alliance' that we think is unrivaled and make this bag a world class piece of quality Made in USA gear! Yeah, we're a bit biased though :) We didn't do a lot of these on this run, so if you've been wanting this combination have at it, but do it quickly before it sells out!
