Unfortunately, she has recently learned the cancer has begun to spread throughout her body and is now considered Stage 4 and life-threatening. When her husband of 35 years was in a serious accident rendering him unable to work, she became the sole provider in the home. Unfortunately, she will have to walk away from her 13-year career in order to prioritize her health. She is also the primary caretaker for her highly special needs Down Syndrome son who needs round-the-clock help.
