I'm a big fan of Allied bikes because they're beautiful, fast, and made here in the USA. Unfortunately, they tend to be out of my budget too. That's why I've been patiently waiting for a used Allied BC40 XC bike to come my way. Last week, this lovely example showed up, but darn it, it was too big! Still, I decided to pull it aside for some glamor shots and I reflected on why I've been lusting over the Allied BC40 for over a year.
