I peek at the favorites and try to deduce who will win based purely on the bike they’re riding. Yes, this is silly. It’s the rider who wins and not the bike. But let’s pretend we live in a world where cycling is more like F1, and having the best machine essentially guarantees victory. So what’s the best bike for the cobbles of Flanders? Let me know what you think! Read More This Bike Might Represent the Future of 1x Anyone remember when Victor Campenaerts raced the Classics last year on a 1x drivetrain with a massive 62t chainring? This caught my eye because Victor might be the biggest marginal gains nerd in the pro peloton. I like big chainrings and I cannot lie. Victor was running a Classified Powershift hub. These add an internal reduction gear to the hub, creating a drivetrain that combines the benefits of 1x and 2x systems. We got a bunch of Classified components here at TPC, so our mechanics decided to build up a new ENVE MOG with a Classified G30 wheelset.
