    Must we bow down to the electronic overlords? Bikes Sell // Trade Magazine Flight Attendant: More Batteries Means More Wins? Yesterday, RockShox and SRAM launched the latest version of Flight Attendant, a wireless electronic suspension system. They claim it will help XC racers go 1.8% faster and save precious brain watts so they can focus on victory. I'm a tech geek, so of course I want it. I want it bad. But sadly, I didn't get one to test and TPC doesn't even have any to sell (yet). All I can do is drool over press releases and YouTube videos while I wait. Do I really need Flight Attendant on my XC bike? Probably not. I'm no Nino Schurter. Part of me also dreads owning a bike with 7 batteries on it. That's right, 7 BATTERIES. I cover all the cool new details of this system — like the fancy algorithm that learns from your riding habits — and ponder if such advancements are worth it for normies.
