    Or is there a better way? Bikes Sell // Trade Magazine Are Random Lotteries the Best Selection Method for Bucket List Events? Last week, Unbound Gravel announced the results of its lottery. Around 4,000 riders got are going to Emporia this summer in search of gravel glory. I'm super lucky to be one of them! (Yeah, I enter the lottery like everyone else. I'm not famous or fast enough for special treatment.) Unfortunately, I know some people who didn't get in and there were a few disappointed messages in our group chat. This got me wondering whether lotteries are the best way to dole out entries for such high-demand, bucket list cycling events. Don't get me wrong. I do think lotteries are good because they create a diverse field of riders and ensure everyone has a fair shot. But I also think adding a second avenue for riders to gain entry could help improve these events and our sport. Let me know what you think!
