Hi , Meet one of the amazing team leaders! Devi Shrestha Devi Shrestha is a group leader of handmade glass beaded Sashka Co. Bracelets. She lives in Kathmandu, Nepal with her husband and two sons. She got married when she was just 15 years old, the same year she moved from her home district Dharan to Kathmandu. Devi worked in a Montessori school for a few years. When she became a mother of two babies, she couldn’t continue her Montessori job and needed to find another source of income. Devi's known how to crochet since she was a child. She learned from her cousin and would crochet for fun. Devi learned she could work from home and stay with her children while crocheting bracelets for income. She quickly joined the team and was really excited she could do something she was passionate about while earning an income. She loves that she can manage her house work and spend time with her children while earning an income for their family. Devi worked for 2 years under a group leader. In 2016 she became a group leader and oversaw 12 other artisans. Devi now works with over 80 artisans across Kathmandu. Devi is extremely passionate about teaching other women who want to learn crocheting. She's taught over 35 women how to crochet perfectly.
