I thought I would try something different this week. A traditional retail ad is good. And, if we have a new product or a special sale item it is still the best thing to send to your inbox. However, some weeks I have something to say and so I thought I would try this. Just a few paragraphs about what I have been doing and thinking about as it relates to pools and spas. This week has been crazier than normal. My son has finished college and joined the business We have decided to mix our e-commerce business with some local pool and spa service. We are currently available in the Metro Detroit Area. So far we have drained, refilled and cleaned a few spas. Putting myself in the real world with real spa water has been a refreshing throwback to my early career before I started Pool Geek. We are charging $225 to drain, thoroughly clean the spa, the cover and the filter. We then refill the spa with filtered water and balance the chemicals. What do you think of that price? I would love to hear how that compares to hiring work where you are and if that seems like an affordable luxury if you have done it yourself.Lastly, 3 out of the 4 spas we have worked on have been on the Frog @ease System and all of the customers seem to like it a lot. It combines minerals that last 4 months with a chlorine cartridge that only has to be replaced once every month or so. That makes it perfect if you use your spa often or if you leave unattended it for weeks at a time. I have a link at the bottom and think it is worth checking out. Until next time.Thank you for your support,Matthew AustinFounderPool Geek, Inc.
