You don't call. You don't write. But you do make a once a quarter appearance in the group chat with a resounding y-e-s to the shirt one of your BFFs is considering wearing for their big interview. And you also send the flowers.

Officially recognized by the United Nations in 1977, International Women's Day is a holiday with roots that the UN traces back to the 1800s, when Americans Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott held a women's rights convention in New York after being barred from speaking at an anti-slavery event. Today, the holiday is recognized globally, and celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. As a solo female-founded business and a predominantly female-run company, we celebrate all women, today and everyday, and the work to end gender-based discrimination - in the workplace and beyond. From access to basic human rights like healthcare and housing, to closing the pay gap, these are some of our favorite organizations doing the work to advance all women and to fight gender bias and discrimination.
