As a facet of our efforts to amplify and uplift queer voices this Pride Season, we partnered with the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art to help them redesign their space–a place dedicated to radical queer imagination and collective meaning making.

It was a joy to play a role in ushering this space into its new aesthetic era, ensuring its spirit–the same spirit that inspired the museum’s founders Charles Leslie and Fritz Lohman to open their home for an informal but proud display of their queer art collection back in 1969–remains intact.

The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art is the only art museum in the world dedicated to LGBTQIA+ artists with a collection of more than 25,000 works spanning three centuries of queer art. Located in a historic building on the corner of Wooster and Canal in Soho, NY, the museum exemplifies the power inherent in nurturing individuality.
