ALL G8X owners need these grilles.

We all know by now that G80/G82s have big grilles. Love em or hate em, they are necessary for adequate cooling of all that horsepower you certainly wouldn't want to give up. While the G87 M2 has smaller kidney grilles it still has some very important and vulnerable coolers in the bottom portion of the nose with absolutely NO protection from road debris. We've mentioned Zunsport in the past as providing a very simple and effective solution for many BMW platforms, but we knew our Project G87 M2 was going to need some protection before seeing the track. So we installed the entire grille package on our G87 M2 and felt like sharing just how simple it is to add major protection to your delicate and expensive coolers.

This multi-piece grille set not only adds a lot of very important protection, but also some cosmetic appeal (in our opinion) to the front of our M2! You may not see it from the front due to its mounting location under the nose of the car, but the equally important oil cooler also gets a grille to protect it from any unwanted items off the street or track that could cause damage or a puncture leading to an extremely costly repair.

NEW RELEASE!

New as of this week - Zunsport had us try out some of their Enhanced Clearance Fender Liner Grills for the G8X. In the video above Phil explains why these are important if you plan on lowering your car, running wheel spacers, or definitely if you do both! The factory fender liner vents limit tire clearance and rubbing will occur when at full lock, but the Zunsport fender liner grills increase clearance quite a bit while still adding protection to your cooler and not changing its ability to properly evacuate air from the coolers.
