Starting with a 100% stock car and introducing the overall concept of the project, to the hundreds of hours of R&D to ensure every part that we added to the GTMore was pushing it in the right direction, to proving our package truly works by testing it countless times in several different events - setting records and taking wins the whole way. The GTMore was a honest rolling test bed to help us provide the best technical advice and parts to our customers through our direct hands-on experiences and results. We've done projects similar to this in the past with previous chassis, but this F8X project was the most in-depth and inclusive project we've ever tackled. To say we are proud of this one would be a huge understatement. We set a very challenging and lofty goal of beating a Motorsport-built M4 GT4 with a street car and even surprised ourselves with the end result. Whoever ends up being the next owner of the GTMore will truly have an incredible machine. Check out the GTMore build page HERE. But wait, if its so great, why are you selling? Valid question and as a company who loves to dig into the latest and greatest BMW chassis and do the work to find out what our customers need its time to pass the GTMore to a new owner and reinvest into our newest project car - a G87 M2! Our M2 was ordered several months ago and we have gotten word its HERE and ready for pick up! That means we are finally closing out our F82 M4 GTMore chapter and we are excited to pick up with our new G87 M2 and hit the ground running. In fact, we already have quite a few parts sitting here awaiting the car to arrive and have been already developing parts on our current G82 M4! The addition of the M2 means we need to make room and the GTMore gets to move on to a new owner who can get an absolutely screaming deal on this record-breaking M4 at $109,999.00 So our...gain...is your gain? We get a new car and so do you! But you'll get an absolutely screaming deal on the GTMore thats for sure! Reach out to us if you are interested, we are very motivated to make room here! Safety First Protect the driver, protect the car. Protecting the car is simple with Red Line Oils in every component possible. Protecting the driver is a little more complicated, but with Lifeline USA, OMP Racing, KMP Drivetrain, JP Marketing, and others on board it meant we could instantly get this thing on track and driving events with confidence. The well thought out safety upgrades in the GTMore not only give peace of mind, but also are quite comfortable. The rear seats has been removed for the bolt-in rollbar, but is easily reversed and any factory parts we retained will come with the car. Front doors are untouched with factory glass, radio and HVAC still work, as does all of the normal steering wheel functions through the awesome KMP Drivetrain steering wheel - including cruise control functions! A Lifeline fire system is installed for driver, passenger safety as well as nozzles that reach into the engine bay. The bottle and controller are tucked away neatly in the trunk area. Speaking of trunk, its fully usable with the carpet still in tact and ready to load up for a drive to the track or a fun weekend getaway. The GTMore can do it all And we took a trip around the country proving it. Don't let it's current look with a full Racing to End Alzheimer's livery fool you. The GTMore is 100% street car with some fancy stickers at the moment. Peel off its vinyl and it can go back to Clark Kent mode and fly under the radar. A BMW you can drive to the track, swap tires if you wish, and set ridiculously fast lap times while confusing Porsche GT3 owners that spent two, three, or even five times as much. Trust us, we had plenty of opportunities to give up on the street-legal part of this build and it would have made our lives a lot easier, but we had no desire to build another race car from a stripped down shell. If we couldn't keep the car street legal, registered, insured, and able to drive anywhere on public roads while crushing our performance goals then we didn't achieve the project's purpose. To beat a purpose-built competition car while having creature comforts such as A/C, satelite radio, and windows that not only keep rain out, but go up and down for toll booths or fast food drive-thrus. A real car that can be driven on a real street without a police escort - planned or unplanned. GTMore Buy It Now - $109,999 Just like every aspect of the GTMore, we found plenty of opportunities to prove this "real-deal, dual-purpose, street-legal" claim. We could have set up a weekend where we knew we'd have perfect weather and drove the car from BimmerWorld headquarters to Virginia International Raceway, a 2hr 45min 140 mile trip, turned a few laps, and called it good enough. Nope, that would just be a fake marketing exercise and prove nothing. Instead, what says street car more than putting over 3,500 miles on public roads across 16 states, all while driving 10 track events on a ridiculously brutal timeline...better known as the One Lap of America. More miles driven, in all sorts of weather conditions on and off track, than if we started in NY and drove to LA! The GTMore not only successfully made the epic journey, but took home FIRST in class after a fun week on the road with friends. How much more proof could there be to achieve true dual-purpose status? Maximum Grip - Minimal Sacrifices: 315mm tires all around - the right way. We know you can stuff a lot of tire on these F8X cars to increase grip, but there is the "easy" way and then there is the correct way. We have perfected the ideal suspension setup for a F8X to not only fit a 315mm tire at all four corners, but do so while keeping correct suspension geometry and able to achieve a proper alignment to take full advantage of this setup. Take a look at the video below as Phil and James go over the specifics of what makes the GTMore and its suspension package unmatched by competitors. James and Phil go through the details of the GTMore suspension and what makes it unlike any of the competition's suspension offerings. View GTMore Suspension Package HOW much tire can fit on the GTMore? Stock vs. 305mm slicks vs. 315mm street tires. James shows the difference between the factory stock wheel/tire package next to our SRO M4 GT4 Pirelli 305mm slicks next to the GTMore 315mm square Continental tires for the street. Quite impressive when you see them side by side on just how much tire we can run with the GTMore suspension package. The aero package we created for the GTMore may be the most obvious way to determine there is certainly something MORE going on with this F82. Using our underlying project goal of a BMW Motorsport M4 GT4 as a baseline and throwing the rule book out the window, we came up with not only a much larger aero package, but more importantly a VERY functional one. A quick side by side comparison to a GT4 shows the vast differences not only in the wing element dimensions, but also its swan neck design and rearward placement on the car to make the increase in downforce night and day. Tell Me (GT)More...click here. The front aero with its splitter and "747" dive planes have a similar story, the size difference is hard to even compare to the GT4. The design is not only to provide maximum downforce, but also incorporate important strength design cues while staying very lightweight, incorporate air ducts for cooling, and features replaceable rub blocks and end plates to truly take whatever you throw at it on the track or street. Ready to own the most prepared BMW track car ever built? GTMore "Balance of Performance": The Real World Balance of Performance...and Reliability In professional GT4 racing "Balance of Performance" or "BoP" is the way a race series will keep all the different car manufactures on an even playing field. To make sure a BMW, Porsche, Aston Martin, Supra etc stay even they will play with power output and weight to find the magic equation each team has to abide by. The GTMore project has no such rules and we can make as much power as we want to. The balance we DO need to abide by is power & reliability. We know the S55 engine is very capable and extremely reliable in stock form, but does have some weaknesses that must be addressed once you start looking to make another 100, 200... or in our case 400hp over what BMW intended it to make. We researched the best engine internals, fuel system, and cooling pieces to create a bulletproof package that we tested in every situation possible. With a LOT, and I mean a LOT of testing, we have created the most complete and overkill cooling system packages for the engine AND DCT transmission for anyone trying to push 600, 700, 800whp and beyond out of their F8X. With multiple tuning maps at your finger tips you can choose your very own Balance of Power. No matter if you are on the 93oct tune at ~600whp or turned it all the way up for the 110oct race gas tune at 810whp, you've got a reliable package. Phil sits down and goes over the details of the GTMore's 900hp+ capable drivetrain and the choices that were made to keep it reliable. Want to discuss owning the GTMore?
